I’ve been staging homes for years. My love of staging began during my time as a realtor, where I saw firsthand how careful and customized staging can help sell a home quickly and for a higher profit. Now that I’m retired, my passion for staging continues as I strive to help others achieve the same success in selling their homes.
My husband and I are retired Fire Chiefs. After dedicating our careers to saving citizens from emergencies, we decided to turn our focus to saving homes that needed love and attention. Each home we remodeled was treated with the care and attention as if we were going to live there ourselves. When it came time to sell, we staged these homes with the same level of commitment, leading to quicker sales and higher market prices in every transaction.
I grew up in the fire service but always balanced the strict uniform side with the whimsical side of design. My journey started in college as a theater major, where I discovered a passion for building and design through set making. This experience influences my approach to home staging today. Just like setting a stage, it’s about what the “audience” sees that sparks emotion. I stage it to sell it and design it to love it.
I’m also a sports enthusiast. I played softball in college, but my true love is hockey. I could watch it every day. The way athletes take a hard hit one second and then glide across the ice like figure skaters the next is inspiring. It's a perfect blend of strength and grace—qualities I strive to embody in my work and life.
Remodeling and design are my obsessions. My husband often cringes when the TV comes on because he knows it’s either hockey or HGTV.
